How we work

• An attic inspection, not just a roof walk.
• A written workmanship warranty separate from the manufacturer's.
• No offer to cover your deductible, no pressure to sign before they leave.

The license, in plain terms

Illinois licenses roofing contractors under the Roofing Industry Licensing Act, through the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. A licensed roofer has passed the state exam, carries the required insurance and bond, and has a license number that must appear on every contract, bid and advertisement. That number is on ours. It is not a guarantee of good work, but a roofer without one is working illegally in Illinois, and a roofer who will not show it has a reason. The Illinois Home Repair and Remodeling Act also requires a written contract for any job over $1,000 and a consumer-rights pamphlet with it; you should get both from anyone.
